Welcome & Aloha, New Hope Oahu--Everywhere & Anywhere!

We are talking about a very exciting subject today--the subject of prophesy! A prophesy is a promise of God about our future! In fact, the foundation scripture for New Hope Oahu is based on Jeremiah 29:11 NIV: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Prophesy is about a glorious future of living in eternity with Jesus Christ! So, what do we need to know about prophesy? Jesus talked quite a bit about the last days; I love what he says in...

John 14:1-3 KJV: “Let not your heart be troubled; In my Father’s house are many mansions; I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Bible records at least 2500 different prophesies; 2000 have already come to pass with no errors!  It doesn't sound like probability to me; it sounds more like impossibility! But it has already been proven accurately because God says in:

Isaiah 55:11 NKJV says: "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please."

The important thing that Jesus would say to us today is, "If I said it, it shall come to pass!" We will talk about some pretty big things that are coming, and it’s possible for them to come to pass because Jeremiah 1:12 says, "I look after My word to PERFORM IT!

1. LAW OF PROPHESY: Refer back to what is written!

When someone tells you something about bible prophesy and it brings fear, refer back to what is written because biblical prophecy will not contradict God's Word!  The authenticity of what we’re talking about is what is written about the last days--Daniel talks about the 70th week...

Week 70: The Church Age: The Prophetic ‘Pause’

Daniel 9:24 NASB says: “Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy cityto finish the wrongdoing..."

The Church Age is very important--it's when a total number of people are saved. The Church Age will continue; it is God’s invitation to all people to repent and be saved--it's a Pause.

Romans 11:25 KJV says: "For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in."

END OF TIMES KICK-OFF EVENTS

#1: The Day of Pentecost - The Dispensation of the Holy Spirit that Launched the Church Age

Acts 2:1-4 NKJV says: "1When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

We are now living in the Church Age--the Prophetic Pause. There is literally a Restrainer, the Holy Spirit inside of all of us, holding back Satan’s kingdom from advancing! Picture the Lord holding back the forces of evil! Sometimes it may feel like   we’re losing, but this is part of God’s plan to ramp up to the final war!

2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 KJV says: "And now you know what is restraining, that he            (antichrist) may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at         work; only He (Holy Spirit) who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way."

#2: The Rapture Kicks Off the Tribulation

The Rapture is God’s rescue mission to take you out before the Great Tribulation starts--also called the catching away. So, you won't be here to go through the Great Tribulation if you have received the gift of eternal life that Jesus paid for, and your name is written in the Lamb's book of Life. You will literally be transported to heaven by angels! (Two will be in the field; one taken and one left behind.) End Times Apostasy is a willful falling away from God!

When will the Rapture happen?

Mark 13:32 ESV says: But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even    the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

God is always working behind the scenes, keeping things from you for you. He has great plans for us.

#3: The Last 3.5 Years of Tribulation, A Run-Up to Armageddon

False Prophet – The Beast – The Dragon

Satan can’t touch you without God’s permission--his only weapon is delusion. This is a 7-year period, when it’s literally hell on earth!

The Great Delusion: Revelation 13:15-17 NASB says: "15 And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause all who do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 And he causes all...to be given a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 and he decrees that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."

At the end of the 7-year period is the Great War of Armageddon. God’s enemies will be scattered when He speaks. There will be a one-world system. The primary town is    Babylon, where people go when God’s judgement starts--it will happen very fast.

#4: One World Order Comes to An End - the Great War Armageddon

LIVE RAPTURE READY. Are you prepared?

Matthew 25:10 NIV says: “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut."

How do I keep my lamp filled with oil? Keep a repentant attitude: Keep short accounts with God. Keep God first and love people as Jesus would; stay connected in Life groups, serving, and fellowshipping. If you know there’s something that’s not right in your life,    don’t let time go by, get right with God immediately!

2. OCCUPY until Jesus Returns

Luke 19:11-13 KJV says: "11 [Jesus] spoke a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. 12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. 13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come."

Jesus wants you to take what He has given you and trade it; He wants a return on His investment on your life. Use your gifts to serve God and serve your community. What do you have a heart to do? Occupy doing that!

3. MULTIPLY until Jesus returns - store up treasure in heaven; Add to your heavenly account:

Matthew 6:20 NKJV says: "...but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."

Phippians4:7 NKJV says: "... and the peace of God...will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

You have a bank account in heaven--every good deed you do is recorded. Jesus tells us in Revelation 2:12, "...my reward is with me," so be fruitful and multiply!

Kingdom Priorities: Trading your Talent, Time, and Treasure; and Multiply acts of service, love, generosity, kindness, giving, prayers, ministry, good works, and financial support.

Revelation 22:12 NIV says: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done."

The promise of rewards is just for those who are in Christ. Many ask, "If God is so good, why does He send people to hell?"  He doesn't! We choose to go there when we do not receive His gift of Eternal Life that He paid for, and we opt for Eternal Damnation! God has removed all the barriers for us so we can come to Him!
