At the end of his race, after being crushed and formed by God through hardships and difficulties, the Apostle Paul writes this letter to the Ephesians. Ephesians 6:12 NIV says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms.” This means that people are not the enemy, the Enemy is the enemy. The boss at your workplace is not your enemy. Those employees that are unkind to you are not your enemies. That sibling who is borrowing your clothes and stretching them is not your enemy. Paul is saying that people are not your enemy; the Enemy is your enemy.

While Daniel was in captivity in Persia, he began to pray to the Lord, and three weeks later the angel stands before him. Daniel 10:12-13 says, “The angel said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you prayed for understanding and humbled yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. And I have come in answer to your prayer, but for 21 days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.’”

Immediately after Daniel prayed, God sent this angel to answer Daniel’s prayers but he was resisted by a territorial spirit. Whether you realize it or not, there are territorial demonic spirits that reside over the face of the earth. The book of Revelation tells us that one-third of the angels were deceived by Lucifer (the Devil) and were cast out of heaven. These demons are stationed in the earth. They know your middle name, address, shortcomings (weak points), and depravity. They are sent on one mission, that is, to steal, kill, and destroy you, according to John 10:10.

Where do gay people come from? How do they get that way? How about transgender, bisexuals, and lesbians? Let’s look at the arguments as we see them across the face of the earth.

First: Theological/Biological argument says, “We are born this way.” This statement merely represents an argument that mainstream America feels to be true; however, it is erroneous. Let me prove it scientifically. Let’s look at twins, fraternal and identical. Fraternal twins have a different amniotic sac, separate placenta, and a different fertilized egg but they are born at the same time. Identical twins: Have a singular identified amniotic sac, a singular placenta, and a singular fertilized egg. The messenger RNA and DNA are exact in identical twins. There are no boy and girl identical twins because the girls have the XX chromosomes and the boys have the XY chromosomes. There are no identical separate gender twins. Only four percent of the 337 million people who call themselves Americans, identify as lesbian, bisexual, gay, or transgender—only four percent. If you take 100 sets of identical twins, it is the same percentage. If the argument that LBGT are biological and genetic in nature, the percentage would be 100% of 100 of them, not four out of 100. If it were really true that science had found a “gay” gene, don’t you suppose that this discovery would be all over the global media? It doesn’t exist. This argument is not biological; you are not born this way.

Second: How about the argument of Nurturing? This argument claims that if you had an overbearing mother, that would cause the boy to become effeminate. The Marine Corps commandant, Chesty Puller, in his West Point speech, attributed his mother to his great ability to command men. So nurturing is not a valid argument.

Third: How about the argument that Culture is Evolving? The Roman Empire in the first century had more depravity and sin than the 21^st century has yet to discover. Every Roman Emperor, with the exception of Constantine in the third century, was a pedophile and cheered by the Roman culture. Every church in the Roman Empire that consisted of 100 million people from Rome, Macedonia (Greece), Asia Minor (Turkey), Palestine (Israel), and northern Africa would go to fertility cults and have sex with the prostitutes. This was an extension of worship and the house was always packed. The Bible is not vague on this subject and Paul addressed this issue throughout scripture. We have not even reached the depths of where the first century was when it was truly antagonistic to Christianity. The Apostle Paul had tremendous courage and confronted a polytheistic culture (worship of many gods) that was antagonistic to monotheism (worship of one God). This was the practice of the first century church; therefore, culture is not evolving.

So how did we get that way? Remember Ephesians 6:12, “Our struggle, our fight, It is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and forces of evil in heavenly realms.” We have seen three-year-old boys with a propensity to play with dolls and are very effeminate; and we have seen little girls who would rather ride motorcycles and get into fights with their brothers.

Where is this coming from? I submit to you that the Word of God is true, that we are all born into sin, without exception, before you had a chance to choose good or bad. We are all born into depravity when the enemy of our souls begins to work out of the womb. There has always been a baby killing spirit that has attempted to undermine and kill babies for millennia. When Moses was born, Pharaoh decreed that all baby boys were to be executed, and when Jesus was born, Herod made a law that all boy babies under the age of two were to be killed. Herod and Moses had zero connection, separated by millennia, didn’t know each other, and were from different cultures. A baby killing spirit has always existed because every time a child is born there is a promise to change the landscape of the world. This depravity is to spiritually accost humanity at our weak point. There are no perfect people. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23.

Legislation is in the works in Olympia, WA, for people to legally marry their pets — this is bestiality! A degradation of society always occurs when Jesus is removed from society. That leaves a void for sin to enter. Remember, people are not our enemies. They are being attacked by the enemy of their souls and don’t realize it. How can we not love them? Apostle Paul said, “Fight the good fight.”  

Fourth: The incredible Power of Cultural Pull —a sweeping tide. God’s absolutes in the Bible are not vague. Understand that there are broken people that have been accosted by hell. We must love them and tell them the truth in love. The Apostle Paul’s target was the Gentiles and Peter’s was specifically to the Jews. Peter happened to be in the city of Antioch, Paul’s first missionary stop where the Gentiles first came to faith. Peter would hang with the Gentiles but when some of the Jewish bigwigs come into town, Peter backed away from the Gentiles and joined the Jews. Galatians 2:11-14 NLT, “But when Peter came to Antioch, I had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong. When he first arrived, he ate with the Gentile believers, who were not circumcised. But afterwards when some friends of James came, Peter wouldn’t eat with the Gentiles anymore. He was afraid of criticism from these people who insisted on the necessity of circumcision. As a result, other Jewish believers followed Peter’s hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was led astray by his hypocrisy. When I saw that they were not following the truth of the gospel message, I said to Peter in front of all the others, ‘Since you, a Jew by birth, have discarded the Jewish laws and are living like a Gentile, why are you now trying to make these Gentiles follow Jewish traditions?’” Even Peter was susceptible to the power of cultural pull.

Here are some tools to help you build a structure that is not intimidating but welcoming to the LBGT community. These tools will give you a sense of direction when resisting the power of the pull of culture that would make you afraid to say the truth. I encourage you to become vocal and loving at the same time.

1. Anchor Ourselves To The Word of God. If you are not anchored in reading the Word of God and doing daily devotions, you will experience drift and become susceptible to every seducing spirit that the leftwing media and culture will tell you is mainstream.

   2. Submit Ourselves To The Purposes Of God. If you are being accosted and pulled towards the LBGT lifestyle, the Bible is very clear in James 4:7 NIV, “Submit yourselves then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Don’t accommodate this lifestyle; it is not okay. You were not born or nurtured this way and culture is not evolving. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” There is an attempt being made by the enemy to seduce you away from health and godliness and to take you into eternity without God. Find your lane and stay in it!

   3. Align Ourselves With Other People Of God. Find people that will encourage and support you in renewing your mind through the Word of God, doing daily devotions, and submitting to the purposes of God.   2 Corinthians 6:17-18 NLT says, “‘Wherefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate ourselves from them,’ says the LORD. ‘Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you. And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”

   4. Push Ourselves With The Growth Of God. You must grow because anyone and anything that is not growing is, in fact, dying. It is a necessity to know that this walk with Jesus is not easy. You must go to the weight room of the spirit and be determined to grow; it will take work! Become a better version of you at the end of 2016, than the one that stepped across on January 1, 2016. The Spirit of the Living God is saying to you, “I am the Lord who heals you. I am God, your healer.”
