Faith in Jesus
Marsha KochiRomans 10: 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.”
Paul tells us that we need to believe in our hearts, not just in our minds. Not just say that we are Believers, but we are Believers who live the life that God has destined for us. We believe everything which Jesus has taught us, now we need to trust, listen, and walk with Him.
I could say that I believed, but when it came to putting the trust with the belief; I stepped back. I didn't want to totally let go; yet I believed in my heart that Jesus died for my sins on the Cross at Calvary. I believed in my heart that its always about Jesus, and He can do all things through me. It wasn't until I had exhausted my own means of control that I realized that it's not about me, and its all about Him. When I relinquished my control on every situation, even if I was hesitant, I started to see how real Jesus is. He gave me the counsel that I needed, the words, the plans that He had set before me. Jesus executed the plans of action, and it was all good.
Thank You Lord for allowing me to see how much I needed to trust You. Its not enough to just believe, if no plan of action is being taken. Thank You for the opportunities that you give me daily to trust and believe in all that You do. You are awesome.
