Growing Deep Growing Strong

6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him,
7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
When Paul says, “just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,continue to live in him...” I am reminded of NHO membership course “Growing Deep Growing Strong.” This is usually your next step as a new believer, soon after saying “YES” to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Yet, one of our Directional Team members is attending this course for the first time. Although it doesn’t change his value to the D-Team, I find it incredibly exciting that he’s taking this for the first time.
It’s simply a route that he took along his walk with Jesus that GDGS was never available during his busy schedule working in the secular world. But now that he’s on staff and on the team - I think I’m more excited for him then he is (I don’t know).
Paul says it’s incredibly important to “continue to live in the Lord, rooted and built up in Him, strengthen in the faith as you were taught...” I cannot agree more. Growing Deep Growing Strong is a great course and just the first of many next steps in your walk with Jesus. I have a list of people who have never taken this course. They will only be as excited about GDGS as excited as I am. How enthusiastic am I for growing in the Lord, everyday. I am excited and enthusiastic for those walking with Jesus.
Lord I pray for those that still need to attend this new believers course. I am so excited that we must do whatever it takes to invite one more to walk with Jesus. Amen.
