Integrity
Marsha KochiTitus 2:7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness 8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
Paul teaches us to be leaders of integrity, where the system of values that we live, are based upon the Word of God. It defines who we are in our identity in Christ. What we say, what we do, and how we think must not change as the world's values change.
We cannot separate our system of values from who we are. Integrity has to be the navigator that steers us through life. It establishes what is important in our lives, and it judges what we will do or not do, what we say yes to and what we say no to.
No matter how challenged I am in life, and what changes I see around me, I must remain close to Him. If I continue to be bothered with what I cannot change, I will be distracted, and can easily be steered the wrong way.
Father, thank You for the wisdom of Your Word that allows us to receive Your instructions that help us to live in a world that changes according to what god they are currently serving. Help me to be a person of integrity, that Your laws remain unchanged and unyielding. Help me to focus on my walk, and the call that You have placed upon my life.
