The High Calling of Martyrdom!

Satan realizes his time is short when God begins judging the earth. It is known among scholars that perseverance is a them of Revelation. The giving of one’s life is understood as the norm, as a Christ follower. To live is Christ - to die is gain. Especially knowing and understanding that the devil will persecute the church and the giving of one’s life for the Lord’s sake is a blessing.
The rise of martyrdom may be closing in.
Would I dare? Would it be conceivable for me to think of sacrificing my life - being a martyr for His name.
People give themselves freely for a worthy cause! May I give myself even more freely to a WORTHY GOD!
Dear Jesus.
Would I dare pray that I would be like You? To give my life for the Name and Cause of my King - that would be a high cost and call! Oh my… I don’t know if I have the spiritual guts - but I know if I’m called to give my life for Your namesake - You will provide everything I need to preservere and say YES to YOU!
