True Godliness Revealed
Rod Shimabukuro1 Timothy 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
After the instructions involving spiritual leadership and how church should be lived out, Paul’s profound nugget expresses the truth on where godliness comes from. It was if Paul is laying the foundation for good, solid, spiritual leadership - then says... this is what true godliness stems from. Not the structure or how to’s of spiritual leadership - but the the key is Jesus.
It’s easy to say the “key to life, living godly, successful, pure lives” is Jesus. But it is. There’s no magical potion or pill that can help us to live a “good life” for Jesus. It is the person of Jesus Himself, who calls us into knowing His life. He empowers me to live for Him.
So I am choosing again - to rest in Him. To think about Him - the life He lives and gave for me, to live in relationship WITH HIM! True Godliness has been revealed in Jesus!
I love You - I Love You!!! You are an amazing Person and God! Your Character as God, lived out and given for Your creation is devastating! Thank You Jesus - for allowing me to rest in You - by Your Spirit - I am able to receive and rest in and live in Your grace - to be godly!
