Spreading The Good News

Richard Waialeale

Scripture

John 12:47 “As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. 48 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day. 49 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it.

Observation

Jesus primary mission wasn’t to judge the world, it was for our salvation. The objective was salvation, judgment was the consequence.
It is estimated that there are approximately 4.5 billion people in the word that don’t know Jesus. Everyone knows or has some concept that there is a God. But 4.5 billion people don’t know Jesus. When someone says, “what will happen to those people that never had a chance to hear or heard of the Gospel of Jesus Christ?” The truth is, they will never make it to eternity.

That’s what the Bible says, and the Bible also says, “to make disciples of all nations.” Which means to me, every believer will be judged on how we shared Jesus with the world.

Application

I have a responsibility to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who don’t know Him. Whether it’s in Hawaii or around this world. Wherever I feel God leading me. When I said I want to save lives and win souls for Jesus - the reason the feeling was so strong in my heart and spirit, is because that is our call, my purpose in life. I speak not on my own accord, but what the Father has placed in my heart and commanded me to do. His Words will save lives and win souls for Jesus.

Prayer

Father I pray that You send me here and to the furthest parts to save live and win souls for Jesus. Wherever You lead I will follow. Give me the power and Words to speak to those that don’t know You. My heart is to see lives saved and souls won to Jesus. Amen.
