Activating The Promises of God

Richard Waialeale

Scripture

Numbers 13:30 (NLT)

30 But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!”

Observation

I can have the Word of God, the Promises of God – but until I pursue the Promises of God – I wont get the victory.

What have God promised me that may have been taken away? Stand up and fight back what is rightfully mine.

God’s Promises for us, but we need to activate His promises, by if we need too – follow through – it wont just drop in your lap. You need to walk, follow through – You need to claim it and activate it.

Application

It’s clear what needs to be done. But God’s promises are activated when I claim it and take hold of it and work towards victory. It’s mine but it doesn’t just fall into my lap. I need to follow through with what God is saying to me in order to claim victory over His promises for my life. Walk the talk. Leaders don’t kill time, they execute it.

Prayer

“Lord teach me to number my days, that I may gain a heart of wisdom.” “And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.” (Psalm 90:12, 17).

Lord that’s my prayer. Your Words fill me and move me closer towards Your promises for my life. Amen.
