Healing: In Jesus, Through Jesus.

Rod Shimabukuro

Scripture
[16]And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16
Observation
Some perceived that the power to heal the lame man from birth, came from Peter and John. Peter addressed the leaders and people of Israel, pointing the cause of this miracle to Jesus. The healing led to a message of salvation. The source is Jesus, not man. I think Peter and John capitalized on the open door of a healing, to preach the Gospel. It was certainly a message of truth, guidance, correction and calling to repentance of sins which leads to salvation.
Application
God is so smart, using situations to give us opportunity to speak of Jesus. It was in Jesus and through Jesus that healing came to a lame man from birth. Today I am filled with desire to be used of God to perform miracles in Him, through Him and For HIM! I am ready to preach and proclaim His name. I hope to have the courage to correct, challenge, call people to repentance and speak God’s truth in love.
Prayer
Dear Daddie God! I love Jesus, because You first loved me. I pray for healing of those lame in body soul and spirit - that they would be healed in and through Jesus name! I pray for opportunities to be courageously obedient to Your leading. I love You Jesus and thank You for healing the lame for Your KIngdom’s purpose!
