Scripture

20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20

Observation

Paul make a clear distinction of the life that he should be living. He can no longer identify with the old lifestyle or the old identity that he lived. His identity was found at the Cross of Calvary I have been crucified with Christ that Idie and Christ live in me. Paul realize that at the Cross a exchange to place it is my life in exchange for His.

Application

Just like Paul came to that realization, I too know that the old life that I lived must die to have the life that Christ has for me. I can no longer live to satisfy my fleshly desires. There must be a transforming work of Jesus Christ in my life. I must live a life that continues the work of the Cross. I can never attain the righteousness of God apart from the Cross. Christ gave Himself for me it is not longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.

Prayer

Thank you for the price that you paid on the Cross of Calvary. It is a constant reminder of who lives in me and that the life I live is no longer my own. I have been bought by the Blod of Jesus Christ.
